Background

I spent 12+ years at a national financial services company, with the last 7+ years focused on data analytics. I worked across customer service analytics, fraud detection, marketing attribution, and operational efficiency. Along the way I figured out what I'm best at: digging through data and finding the stuff that's costing a company money. One analysis alone turned up $130K in efficiency savings.

But I kept noticing something: large tech-driven companies had solid analytics, while the manufacturers down the road were making million-dollar decisions off spreadsheets and gut feel.

That’s why I started Pemberton Data Solutions.

In that role, I learned that data problems look pretty similar everywhere, whether you're processing financial transactions or producing automotive parts. The difference is knowing which metrics and processes matter for your industry.

I focus on manufacturing because it's where better data pays off the fastest. When you're running production lines, every hour of unplanned downtime, every point of scrap, every late shipment has a dollar figure attached. Manufacturing is the backbone of Upstate South Carolina, and the companies here deserve the same quality of analytics that Fortune 500 firms take for granted. My approach works for any industry with operational complexity, and we bring the same depth to every engagement.
