Permit leads for AV, smart home and security integrators
Every $750k+ home and $250k+ commercial build permitted in the Upstate, with the builder named, before the drywall goes up.
A home theater, a rack room or a whole-house control system is decided in the framing stage, and the builder decides who gets the call. By the time the house is on the market the work is done. Permits are the earliest public record that a high-end build exists.
We pull every building permit in the Upstate daily, keep the new homes at $750,000 and up and the commercial builds and upfits at $250,000 and up, and drop the trade-only filings that clutter the raw feed. The builder or general contractor is named on every row.

What predicts your next job
- A new single-family permit at $750,000 and up means a client who will spend on audio, video, lighting control and security. The builder is named; the homeowner never is.
- A commercial new build or upfit at $250,000 and up means a conference room, a lobby, a restaurant sound system or a security install, chosen by the GC within weeks of the permit.
- Standalone electrical, mechanical, sign and roofing permits are removed, so the file is buildings, not trade paperwork.
Call the builder in the first two weeks after the permit issues, while the low-voltage rough-in is still an open decision.

Straight answers
Does the file name the homeowner?
No. Individual homeowners are never named, at any price, under South Carolina's Family Privacy Protection Act (S.C. Code 30-2-50). The lead is the builder or general contractor, the address, the declared value and the scope.
How current is it?
Most Upstate jurisdictions are pulled daily and the rest weekly. A monthly or quarterly delivery ships the whole window since the last one; the first delivery always covers the trailing 90 days.
Can the cut be changed?
Yes. The $750k and $250k floors are a starting point. Reply to your delivery email with the change and the next file reflects it at no charge.
