- A commercial new build or addition: a whole building's worth of signage, furniture, cabling and clean-up.
- A commercial upfit at $100,000 and up: a tenant moving in, which means a new sign, new furniture and a new network within 90 days.

Is the tenant named?
Where the permit or the parcel record names a business, yes. Individuals are never named under South Carolina's Family Privacy Protection Act (S.C. Code 30-2-50).
Why exclude sign permits?
A sign permit is a sign already sold. The lead for a sign company is the upfit two months before it, which is what this cut keeps.
How current is it?
Most Upstate jurisdictions are pulled daily and the rest weekly. The first delivery covers the trailing 90 days; later deliveries cover the window since the last one.
