We pull every permit in the Upstate daily and hand you two things: the upstream jobs, every new single-family and commercial new build with the builder named, and the standalone electrical, mechanical and HVAC permits filed in your counties, so you can see who is pulling how many.

Straight answers
Are these permits I would pull myself?
The trade-permit tab, yes: that is your own trade's volume, by contractor. The new-home and commercial tabs are the building permits upstream of your work, pulled by the builder or GC, which is where the subcontract is awarded.
Does it name homeowners?
No. Individual homeowners are never named under South Carolina's Family Privacy Protection Act (S.C. Code 30-2-50). Builders, GCs and contractors are.
Solar permits?
Excluded from the trade tab by default so the electrical count is not inflated by roof-mount solar. Ask and we include them.
Which counties?
The counts on this page are Upstate SC. The same file is sold for Charlotte, the Triangle, Atlanta, coastal SC and Georgia, and the Midlands; pick regions when you build your order.
