Where we have coverage
Every jurisdiction below is pulled on the cadence shown, and most are daily.
Two gaps worth naming, because a buyer would reasonably assume otherwise: Cobb County, GA and the NC Piedmont Triad (Davidson, Davie and Forsyth) have no permit source. Both closed off public automated access during 2026. Vacant-land data does still cover Davidson, Davie and Stanly — the gap is permits, not land.

Which jurisdictions are covered?
54 city and county permit systems across 38 counties in SC, NC, GA, and TN. The full list is above. Coverage grows most months, so if your market isn't listed, ask.
Do I have to buy monthly?
No. Quarterly pulls are available at $700 for Territory Feed and $900 for Pro, and each one carries the whole quarter, so you see the same permits either way. The difference is when. Where you sit in the build decides it: install late, like AV or low-voltage, and a quarterly batch works fine, because the permit is months ahead of your work anyway. Bid early and a permit that reaches you three months late is a job someone else already won. Monthly costs less per pull and puts leads in front of you while they are still live.
Do you sell land data too?
Yes. It is a separate product on the same page as the permit feed: open the land view for vacant and unimproved parcels across five Upstate counties, with the owning company and its mailing address, priced per pull rather than by subscription. If you want both, we quote them together.
Where does the data come from?
Directly from each jurisdiction's public permit system, pulled daily, then normalized, deduplicated, geocoded, and scored by our pipeline. See the methodology for the details.
What does "scored" actually mean?
Each permit is graded on six signals: permit class fit, project clustering, valuation, owner type, scope keywords, and recency. That grade sorts it into Tier 1 (call first), Tier 2 (worth a look), or Tier 3 (context). The score comes with a written reason, not just a number.
Do you sell homeowner contact information?
No, and we won't. South Carolina's Family Privacy Protection Act (S.C. Code § 30-2-50) prohibits using individuals' personal information from government records for commercial solicitation, so individual homeowners are never named in our permit feeds, paid or free. Residential leads carry the builder's name, which is the business you'd actually call, and business or entity owners are included in full. Every list you buy from us stays clean, usable, and legal.

Can I get the raw data, an API, or something custom?
Probably. Tell us what you need. Custom feeds, market briefs, and one-off pulls are quoted individually. Bulk access to the public map's endpoints isn't licensed (see data terms); this is the licensed path.
Data privacy & compliance
Our permit intelligence is built for compliance with South Carolina's Family Privacy Protection Act (S.C. Code § 30-2-50), which restricts the use of personal information from public records. Individual homeowners are never named in our permit feeds, free or paid.
What we publish is business and entity information: contractors, builders, developers, and commercial owners, verified where possible against SC Secretary of State registrations. A tradesperson named on a permit as contractor of record may appear under their own name, in their business capacity. Where a record could identify a private individual, we withhold it by design rather than by request.
